Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Work D.27 by Masaaki Yamada was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 502,500.00 (€ 55,872.91). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Masaaki Yamada - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work C. 98, which sold at auction in November 2017 for HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 121,123.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Work D.27 von Masaaki Yamada wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 502.500,00 (€ 55.872,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Masaaki Yamada mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work C. 98 beobachtet, die im November 2017 für HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 121.123,30) versteigert wurde.
