Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work C.296 by Masaaki Yamada. The price achieved of GBP 22,562.50 (€ 25,053.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Masaaki Yamada have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Work C. 98 in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 121,123.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit C.296 von Masaaki Yamada zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.562,50 (€ 25.053,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Masaaki Yamada auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Work C. 98 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 121.123,30).
