This artwork by Mary Martin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2019. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Spiral Movement sold for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,385.14) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary Martin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rotation 3 in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 91,647.53).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mary Martin erzielte im September 2019 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in Britain wurde die Arbeit Spiral Movement für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.385,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mary Martin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rotation 3 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 91.647,53).
