The work Rotation Mm1 by Mary Martin was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,734.37), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary Martin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rotation 3 in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 91,647.53).

Die Arbeit Rotation Mm1 von Mary Martin kam im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.734,37) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mary Martin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rotation 3 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 91.647,53).
