This artwork by Mary Martin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in July 2013. In the Modern & Post-War British Art auction, the work Climbing Form 1954-62 sold for GBP 46,250.00 (€ 52,848.69) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00.
