Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rotation Mm1 by Mary Martin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,305.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary Martin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rotation 3 in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 91,647.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rotation Mm1 von Mary Martin kam im März 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.305,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mary Martin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rotation 3 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 91.647,53).
