Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, from 'Common Sense' by Martin Parr was auctioned at Bonhams in December last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,785.00 (€ 2,015.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Parr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Last Resort, 1983-86 in April 2021 with an auction result of GBP 21,420.00 (€ 24,639.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, from 'Common Sense' von Martin Parr kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.785,00 (€ 2.015,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Parr erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Last Resort, 1983-86 im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.420,00 (€ 24.639,23).
