Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,786.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Parr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Last Resort, 1983-86 in April 2021 with an auction result of GBP 21,420.00 (€ 24,639.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Manorhamilton Sheep Fair, Ireland von Martin Parr wurde im August letzten Jahres in der Auktion PhotographsSummer Cut bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.786,89) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
