In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Body Beautiful, Or Beauty Knows No Pain (Hot Meat) sold for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 8,988.80) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martha Rosler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bringing The War Home: House Beautiful in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 121,561.60).
