The auction ended at the price of EUR 30,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Markus Schinwald - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Adam, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,742.25).

Die Arbeit „Carlotta“. von Markus Schinwald wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Sommerauktionen 2020 - Zeitgenössische Kunst bei Grisebach versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 30.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Markus Schinwald mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Adam beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.742,25) versteigert wurde.
