Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Hannah by Markus Schinwald for EUR 17,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 18,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Markus Schinwald - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Adam, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,742.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Hannah von Markus Schinwald für EUR 17.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 18.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Markus Schinwald mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Adam beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für USD 68.750,00 (€ 61.742,25) versteigert wurde.
