Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Yvette by Markus Schinwald. The price achieved of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,937.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Markus Schinwald have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2016 the work Adam was auctioned for USD 68,750.00 (€ 61,742.25).
