Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mark Innerst could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Signs On Buildings changed hands for USD 1,250.00 (€ 913.08) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Innerst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Distant View in May last year with an auction result of USD 35,280.00 (€ 32,876.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mark Innerst konnte im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Signs On Buildings für USD 1.250,00 (€ 913,08) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Innerst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Distant View im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.280,00 (€ 32.876,71).
