In March this year Christies in New York held the auction The Collection of Thomas & Doris Ammann: Online, which included the work City Block by Mark Innerst. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,340.00 (€ 10,430.46), 62% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mark Innerst - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Distant View, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 35,280.00 (€ 32,876.71).

Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion The Collection of Thomas & Doris Ammann: Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit City Block von Mark Innerst zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.340,00 (€ 10.430,46) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mark Innerst mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Distant View beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 35.280,00 (€ 32.876,71) versteigert wurde.
