It achieved a price of USD 9,562.50 (€ 7,907.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. Admittedly, works by Mark Innerst have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Distant View in May last year with an auction result of USD 35,280.00 (€ 32,876.71).

Die Arbeit The Great Lawn (Shaded Figure) von Mark Innerst wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Modern, Contemporary & Latin American Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.562,50 (€ 7.907,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mark Innerst auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Distant View im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.280,00 (€ 32.876,71).
