Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Mark Bradford was auctioned at Christies in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 239,400.00 (€ 224,704.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Bradford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Helter Skelter I in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 8,671,500.00 (€ 9,872,981.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mark Bradford kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 239.400,00 (€ 224.704,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Bradford erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Helter Skelter I im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.671.500,00 (€ 9.872.981,37).
