The work New Born (Wave UFO) by Mariko Mori was sold in the Contemporary Edition auction at Christies in New York in July 2018. It achieved a price of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,203.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mariko Mori achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cyclic II in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 156,250.00 (€ 126,826.30).

Die Arbeit New Born (Wave UFO) von Mariko Mori wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Edition bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.203,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mariko Mori erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cyclic II im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.250,00 (€ 126.826,30).
