Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Miko No Inori (Mirage) by Mariko Mori was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,752.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mariko Mori achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cyclic II in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 156,250.00 (€ 126,826.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Miko No Inori (Mirage) von Mariko Mori kam im Dezember 2015 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.752,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mariko Mori erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cyclic II im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.250,00 (€ 126.826,30).
