Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Two works: (i) Connected World (Drawing II); (ii) Connected World (Drawing III) by Mariko Mori for USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,335.59). This price was achieved in the auction connect / reflect / COLLECT a selection of contemporary art at Phillips in Online Auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mariko Mori achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cyclic II in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 156,250.00 (€ 126,826.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two works: (i) Connected World (Drawing II); (ii) Connected World (Drawing III) von Mariko Mori für USD 1.500,00 (€ 1.335,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion connect / reflect / COLLECT a selection of contemporary art bei Phillips in Online Auction erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mariko Mori erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cyclic II im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.250,00 (€ 126.826,30).
