Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fillette endormie by María Blanchard was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in February 2007. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 144,000.00 (€ 213,474.83), 20% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by María Blanchard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Joueur De Luth, which sold at auction in June 2012 for GBP 457,250.00 (€ 566,184.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fillette endormie von María Blanchard wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 144.000,00 (€ 213.474,83) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von María Blanchard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Joueur De Luth beobachtet, die im Juni 2012 für GBP 457.250,00 (€ 566.184,36) versteigert wurde.
