Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La cuisiniére by María Blanchard was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 87,892.60) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by María Blanchard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Joueur De Luth in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 566,184.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La cuisiniére von María Blanchard kam im März 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 75.000,00 (€ 87.892,60) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von María Blanchard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Joueur De Luth im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 566.184,36).
