The work Nu by María Blanchard was sold in the Impressionist/Modern Works on Paper auction at Christies in London in June 2013. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 43,750.00 (€ 51,064.09), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by María Blanchard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Joueur De Luth in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 566,184.36).

Die Arbeit Nu von María Blanchard wurde im Juni 2013 in der Auktion Impressionist/Modern Works on Paper bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 51.064,09) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von María Blanchard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Joueur De Luth im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 566.184,36).
