This artwork by María Blanchard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in October 2016. In the Art Moderne auction, the work Composition cubiste sold for EUR 47,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by María Blanchard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Joueur De Luth in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 566,184.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 90 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von María Blanchard erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Moderne wurde die Arbeit Composition cubiste für EUR 47.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von María Blanchard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Joueur De Luth im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 566.184,36).
