Auction result well in line with expectations
In July this year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work A Nanda on Toto Caring by Marcelo Bonevardi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,560.00 (€ 2,323.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcelo Bonevardi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Habitat in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 62,400.00 (€ 46,153.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Nanda on Toto Caring von Marcelo Bonevardi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.560,00 (€ 2.323,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcelo Bonevardi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Habitat im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.400,00 (€ 46.153,85).
