Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Talismanic Object (No. 468) by Marcelo Bonevardi for USD 11,875.00 (€ 10,664.57). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Marcelo Bonevardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Habitat in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 62,400.00 (€ 46,153.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Talismanic Object (No. 468) von Marcelo Bonevardi für USD 11.875,00 (€ 10.664,57) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcelo Bonevardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Habitat im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.400,00 (€ 46.153,85).
