Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Marcelo Bonevardi could be acquired at Bonhams in May this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work Trap for a Constellation (Auriga) changed hands for USD 765.00 (€ 718.04) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcelo Bonevardi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blue Habitat in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 62,400.00 (€ 46,153.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcelo Bonevardi konnte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Studio Art | Bonhams Skinner wechselte die Arbeit Trap for a Constellation (Auriga) für USD 765,00 (€ 718,04) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcelo Bonevardi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blue Habitat im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.400,00 (€ 46.153,85).
