Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin America: Modern Art, which included the work The Supreme Instrument by Marcelo Bonevardi. It changed hands for a price of USD 47,500.00 (€ 44,972.54) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Other works by Marcelo Bonevardi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2007 the work Blue Habitat was auctioned for USD 62,400.00 (€ 46,153.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin America: Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Supreme Instrument von Marcelo Bonevardi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 44.972,54) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Marcelo Bonevardi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2007 die Arbeit Blue Habitat für USD 62.400,00 (€ 46.153,85) versteigert.
