Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Instruments De Musique by Marcelle Cahn was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2011. It changed hands for a price of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 38,555.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 28,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcelle Cahn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition Abstraite in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 168,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Instruments De Musique von Marcelle Cahn wurde im Juni 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 34.850,00 (€ 38.555,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 28.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcelle Cahn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition Abstraite im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.750,00.
