Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre - 1971 by Marcelle Cahn. The price achieved of EUR 1,040.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcelle Cahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Abstraite in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 168,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1971 von Marcelle Cahn zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.040,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcelle Cahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.750,00.
