Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Photocollage - 1961 by Marcelle Cahn was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in October 2016. The price achieved of EUR 1,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcelle Cahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Abstraite in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 168,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Photocollage - 1961 von Marcelle Cahn wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcelle Cahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.750,00.
