The work Sans titre - 1977 by Marcelle Cahn was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in December last year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,624.00 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcelle Cahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Abstraite in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 168,750.00.

Die Arbeit Sans titre - 1977 von Marcelle Cahn wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.624,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcelle Cahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.750,00.
