In June 2019 Christies in Paris held the auction Art d'après-guerre et contemporain, vente du jour, which included the work Sans titre by Marc Desgrandchamps. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Marc Desgrandchamps have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 35,050.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2019 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art d'après-guerre et contemporain, vente du jour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Marc Desgrandchamps zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Desgrandchamps auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.050,00.
