Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Diptych) by Marc Desgrandchamps for EUR 13,860.00. This price was achieved in the auction Living Contemporary at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marc Desgrandchamps - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans titre, which sold at auction in May 2008 for EUR 35,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Diptych) von Marc Desgrandchamps für EUR 13.860,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Living Contemporary bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marc Desgrandchamps mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans titre beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für EUR 35.050,00 versteigert wurde.
