Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Marc Desgrandchamps achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in December 2019. In the Art Contemporain Day Sale auction, the work without title sold for EUR 21,875.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Marc Desgrandchamps; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sans titre sold at auction in May 2008 with the realized price of EUR 35,050.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marc Desgrandchamps erzielte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 21.875,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Marc Desgrandchamps; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Sans titre im Mai 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 35.050,00.
