A top price for Marc Desgrandchamps - as previously expected
The work Sans titre by Marc Desgrandchamps was sold in the Art d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain auction at Christies in Paris in May 2008. The price achieved of EUR 35,050.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Sans titre is the most expensive artwork by Marc Desgrandchamps that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Marc Desgrandchamps wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Art d'Après-Guerre et Contemporain bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 35.050,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Sans titre das teuerste Kunstwerk von Marc Desgrandchamps, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
