Auction result misses estimated price range
In March last year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Marc Desgrandchamps for EUR 2,772.00. This price was achieved in the auction Living Contemporary at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Desgrandchamps achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans titre in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 35,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Marc Desgrandchamps für EUR 2.772,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Living Contemporary bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Desgrandchamps erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans titre im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.050,00.
