The work I See Season by Makiko Kudo was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in November 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 13,860.00 (€ 15,472.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Makiko Kudo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Floating Island sold at auction in August 2020 with the realized price of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 25,414.29).
