Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year VAN HAM held the auction From a Universal Collector – The Olbricht Collection | Being Human, which included the work Everyone saw something glittering for quite long time, but they were all forgot what they saw. by Makiko Kudo. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,940.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Makiko Kudo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Floating Island in August 2020 with an auction result of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 25,414.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte VAN HAM die Auktion From a Universal Collector – The Olbricht Collection | Being Human durch, in der auch die Arbeit Everyone saw something glittering for quite long time, but they were all forgot what they saw. von Makiko Kudo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.940,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Makiko Kudo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Floating Island im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 25.414,29).
