Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Makiko Kudo achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in June last year. In the From a Universal Collector – The Olbricht Collection | Being Human auction, the work "I don' t need it anymore". sold for EUR 17,160.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Makiko Kudo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Floating Island sold at auction in August 2020 with the realized price of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 25,414.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Makiko Kudo erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei VAN HAM einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion From a Universal Collector – The Olbricht Collection | Being Human wurde die Arbeit "I don' t need it anymore". für EUR 17.160,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Makiko Kudo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Floating Island im August 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 25.414,29).
