In July 2020 Christies in London held the auction The World Is A Sphere: Art from the Faurschou Foundation, which included the work researcher by Makiko Kudo. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,250.00 (€ 6,971.40), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Makiko Kudo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Floating Island, which sold at auction in August 2020 for GBP 22,680.00 (€ 25,414.29).

Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion The World Is A Sphere: Art from the Faurschou Foundation durch, in der auch die Arbeit researcher von Makiko Kudo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 6.971,40) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Makiko Kudo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Floating Island beobachtet, die im August 2020 für GBP 22.680,00 (€ 25.414,29) versteigert wurde.
