Sold at the lower estimate price
In February 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Prints & Multiples, which included the work Houston Street Burlesque (R. & P. 37) by Mabel Dwight. The result of USD 1,000.00 (€ 658.46) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mabel Dwight - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Life Class (Robinson & Pirog 52), which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,577.04).
