A top price for Mabel Dwight - as previously expected
The work Life Class (Robinson & Pirog 52) by Mabel Dwight was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2008. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,577.04) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Life Class (Robinson & Pirog 52) is the most expensive artwork by Mabel Dwight that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Life Class (Robinson & Pirog 52) von Mabel Dwight kam im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.577,04) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Life Class (Robinson & Pirog 52) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Mabel Dwight, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
