This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 340,000.00 many times over. This high result makes United Symphony the most expensive artwork by Ma Desheng that we have observed at auctions so far.
