Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Generation 21 by Artcurial, which included the work Sans titre - 2018 by Ma Desheng. The price achieved of EUR 23,616.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ma Desheng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work United Symphony in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,040,000.00 (€ 99,493.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Generation 21 by Artcurial durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre - 2018 von Ma Desheng zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 23.616,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ma Desheng auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit United Symphony im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.040.000,00 (€ 99.493,05).
