Auction result well in line with expectations
The work (I) Seeing Town (Ii) Home Of The Commoners (Two Works) by Ma Desheng was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 35,000.00 (€ 4,131.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Desheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work United Symphony in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,040,000.00 (€ 99,493.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit (I) Seeing Town (Ii) Home Of The Commoners (Two Works) von Ma Desheng kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 35.000,00 (€ 4.131,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Desheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit United Symphony im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.040.000,00 (€ 99.493,05).
