Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Christies in London held the auction 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale, which included the work Les Partisans (The Partisans) by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye. The price achieved of GBP 1,002,000.00 (€ 1,142,915.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Other works by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October last year the work Highpower was auctioned for GBP 1,482,000.00 (€ 1,726,513.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Partisans (The Partisans) von Lynette Yiadom-Boakye zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.002.000,00 (€ 1.142.915,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Lynette Yiadom-Boakye konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres die Arbeit Highpower für GBP 1.482.000,00 (€ 1.726.513,59) versteigert.
