Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Highriser by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye was sold in the 21st Century Evening Sale auction at Christies in New York in May this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,008,000.00 (€ 946,123.52). Other works by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,482,000.00 (€ 1,726,513.59) in October last year for the work Highpower.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Highriser von Lynette Yiadom-Boakye wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 21st Century Evening Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.008.000,00 (€ 946.123,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Lynette Yiadom-Boakye haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.482.000,00 (€ 1.726.513,59) im Oktober letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Highpower beobachtet.
