This artwork by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October last year. In the A Place With No Name: Works from the Sina Jina Collection auction, the work Highpower sold for GBP 1,482,000.00 (€ 1,726,513.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800,000.00. This high result makes Highpower the most expensive artwork by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye that we have observed at auctions so far.
