Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Diplomacy I by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye was sold in the 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,371,000.00 (€ 1,595,607.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Other works by Lynette Yiadom-Boakye have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October last year the work Highpower was auctioned for GBP 1,482,000.00 (€ 1,726,513.59).
