This artwork by Lucas Arruda achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in March 2021. In the New Now auction, the work without title sold for USD 289,800.00 (€ 246,785.32) - well above the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lucas Arruda; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of HKD 3,780,000.00 (€ 420,297.69).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Lucas Arruda erzielte im März 2021 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 289.800,00 (€ 246.785,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 150.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lucas Arruda; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untitled from the series Deserto-Modelo im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 3.780.000,00 (€ 420.297,69).
